At the current time I am seconded (50%) to the Institute for Economic and Social Research (ISER), University of Essex. ISER comprises the ESRC United Kingdom Longitudinal Studies Centre (ULSC) and the ESRC Research Centre on Micro-Social Change (MISOC) and has a world class reputation. Essex University is a leading research university in Britain, and is ranked within the top ten (RAE 2001). Essex is known for its internationally excellent social sciences research, having achieved 5* ratings for its three social sciences departments (Economics, Government and Sociology).
