With a background as a general nurse, my research interests revolve around the demography and geography of ageing populations, and health and marginalisation. I have expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods though my main focus is to utilise readily available survey and administrative data. I teach on quantitative methods and public health research modules at postgraduate level, and to undergraduate nurses on topics including research, and the nursing care of older people. I also continue to contribute to skills teaching. |
